Chief of Police Recognized at State Capital
The City of Rancho Cucamonga congratulates San Bernardino County Sherriff's Department Captain Danielle Boldt on her recent recognition on the floor of the California State Assembly. Captain Boldt is also known as Chief Boldt as she is the commanding officer in Rancho Cucamonga.
Assemblyman Marc Steinorth, R-Rancho Cucamonga, named Chief Boldt the 40th Assembly District Woman of the Year at a ceremony in Sacramento on March 6, 2017. Steinorth praised the Chief for "her hard work, commitment and leadership." He called her service "a reminder of the positive impact law enforcement has in our neighborhoods."
Chief Boldt is especially valued by Rancho Cucamonga residents for her commitment to community based policing and providing clear and straight facts, as well as her expertise in increasing safety by "hardening the target." She is also responsible for re-launching the Citizen's Advisory Committee, which meets monthly at the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center. Attendance at each meeting typically exceeds 100. Chief Boldt is a valued and respected leader for both our Rancho Cucamonga Police Department and the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department. We congratulate her on this well deserved recognition.
